Shipping policy

 

The following outlines delivery, returns and related policies.


Shipping

Shipping is offered on all orders.
Orders are prepared within 2–3 working days and dispatched shortly thereafter.

Certain materials may require additional processing time.


Customs

Orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and clearance fees upon arrival in the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.


Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges may be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unworn and returned in their original condition and packaging, with all accompanying components.


 

Refund Policy


Right of Withdrawal

This section applies only to Orders for which the Customer has a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable law, including Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code.

It does not apply to Products made to your specifications or otherwise clearly personalised.
Such Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once confirmed.

You have the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days without giving any reason (the “Cooling-off Period”).

The Cooling-off Period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, takes physical possession of the Product.

If multiple Products are delivered separately, the Cooling-off Period begins upon receipt of the final Product.


Condition of Returns

During the Cooling-off Period, Products must be handled with due care.

Items may be inspected only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and fit, as in a physical boutique.

The outsole must remain in original, unmarked condition.

Shoes should be tried on indoors, on a clean and carpeted surface, and with the protective sticker in place.


Return Process

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the Cooling-off Period via email at support@taro-ishida.com.

Products must then be returned in accordance with the instructions provided, using the return label supplied.

Items must be returned with all accessories, in original condition and packaging.


Refunds

Once the returned Product has been received and inspected, the return will be processed within 14 working days.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.


Deductions & Responsibility

We reserve the right to refuse a return, or reduce the refund where permitted, if return conditions are not met.

If a parcel is returned due to customer-related issues (including unpaid customs charges or refusal of delivery), associated costs may be deducted from the refund.

TARO ISHIDA is not responsible for orders confiscated or destroyed by customs due to non-compliance with import requirements.


Faulty Products

If you believe a Product is defective, please contact us as soon as possible, and preferably within five (5) days of delivery.

Your claim should include a description of the issue, supporting images or video, and the order details.

We may request return of the Product for inspection.

If a defect is confirmed, we may offer:

  • replacement

  • repair

  • partial refund

  • or full refund

depending on the circumstances.
